ABOUT
"I ett län fullt av indie, dödsmetal och prog är Widecold som en frisk fläkt"
Based in Luleå in north of Sweden, Widecold is a five-piece band formed in the summer of 2024.
Though the group itself is new, its members bring years of experience from the local scene, uniting their backgrounds to forge a fresh and distinctive sound.
Blending the weight of heavy groove with the accessibility of melodic rock, Widecold delivers music that resonates with both power and emotion — a modern take on northern Sweden’s evolving metal identity.
On stage, Widecold isn’t just there to entertain. The band’s presence, energy, and connection with the crowd make every performance an immersive experience — one where audience and band become part of the same moment.
